need papers translated or help filling out forms. We often need
volunteers to
assist staff with this kind of work.
Tax
Preparation:
Every
year from February thru April 15 AARP offers free tax preparation
services to
our clients. Centro is recruiting bilingual Spanish – English
volunteers to
help AARP. Tax Preparation hours at Centro will be from 9 to 3pm on
Thursdays.
Administrative
Assistance
Volunteers
are needed to help with the internal reorganization of Centro.
Formatting
newsletters, filing, helping with our donor bank, fundraising
infrastructure,
thank you notes, phone banking, answering phones, and more
Building
Maintenance:
Painting,
building repair, landscaping etc. Volunteers welcome
Special
Events:
We
periodically have special events like Open House, Consulado Mobil,
Latino
Family Conference, etc where volunteers are needed.
